Sold my 8N tractor and have decided on the TC33D. A friend of mine are both going to buy one. Can we expect any price breaks due to both of us buying one?

What I have done is quoted my local guy along with anyone in a 50 mile radius. The local guy is $800 higher then any of the other companies. My strategy was to tell the local guy to match(or come close) and I will buy from him. Do you think this is a good strategy?

Thanks

Saving eight hundred dollars isn't a wise savings unless in the long run it saves you. If your local dealer has great service and is willing to support you when you have problems and the long distant dealer is going to be there for you when you have issues... Like sending someone to your house to fix a problem or sending a trailer to pickup your tractor... then $800.00 goes aways quickly... Friendship and service goes a long way... ....
